When the pandemic turned our schools and homes upside down, we just added an innovative way to help students and families at the Homework House. It worked so well, we kept it. Students drop in after school up to three days a week for up to six hours. Whatever it takes to be ready for the next day. Teachers are always here to help it go smoothly.
Academic Coaching. Because sink or swim does not work for everyone.
Some children need more help than others developing the executive functioning necessary to be successful. Some kids have the intelligence to excel, they just don’t have the confidence and calm that comes from knowing what to do when. Some kids could use a coach.
